Mahomes: Looking forward to Eric Bieniemy disproving the naysayers
Reactions to LeSean McCoy's derogatory comments against Eric Bieniemy were immediate. Nevertheless, Bieniemy's most notable and well-known admirer emerged on Thursday when two-time MVP and Super Bowl champion Patrick Mahomes gave his former offensive coordinator a resounding social media endorsement.
There should be no doubts about what a fantastic man and coach Coach Bienemy is. The player and person I am now is directly impacted by his mentorship! Mahomes stated, "10+ years learning under one of the greatest coaches of all time. And I can't wait for him to keep disproving sceptics!
After McCoy on FOX Sports 1 claimed that Bieniemy had "nothing to do" with the Chiefs passing game and questioned Bieniemy's worth as a coach and coordinator, Mahomes endorsed Bieniemy. In 2019, McCoy, a former running back in the NFL from 2009 to 2020, played for Kansas City when Bieniemy served as the team's offensive coordinator.

Bieniemy responded to McCoy's remarks in a dignified manner.
Okay, LeSean McCoy will one day run in the Hall of Fame. Everyone has a right to express their own opinions, viewpoints, and feelings. After all is said and done, I believe that is all I have to say. He has the right to his own viewpoint. Such is life. Both excellent and bad exist, Bieniemy remarked. That has no effect on me in any manner. Being in this situation forces you to have the ability to block out distractions. It's my responsibility to concentrate on the here and now. Eric Bieniemy is unaffected by anything outside of these barriers going forward.
